How the ICP process works
Whether it is a first card or a renewal, ICP runs the same five stages — we handle every one of them online.
- Application (typing) — we prepare and submit the ICP eForm, usually within the hour
- Payment — card fee AED 200 / 300 / 600 / 1,100 by validity plus AED 85 application and typing
- Biometrics — fingerprints at an ICP centre for first-time applicants; we book the slot
- Printing — the card is printed typically 24–48 hours after approval
- Delivery — collect from your chosen Emirates Post office or track it in the ICP app
