How to check your Golden Visa status online in the UAE
1 min read 1

Most "no record found" scares come from using the wrong portal. Which one you need depends only on where the application was filed.
Quick answer
It is free and takes a couple of minutes. If you applied in Dubai, track the application through GDRFA Dubai (website or app). For every other emirate, use ICP Smart Services or the UAEICP app. You will see whether the file is under review, approved or waiting for a document.

ICP or GDRFA?
Dubai files sit with GDRFA. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah files sit with ICP. If you are unsure, check your entry permit or the receipt from the typing centre.
What you need
- Application or transaction number
- Passport number and nationality
- Date of birth
- Emirates ID number, if you already have one
What the statuses mean
- Under review: the file is with the authority
- Returned / additional documents: something must be added or corrected
- Approved: the entry permit or residence is being issued
- Rejected: read the reason before reapplying
When to chase
Clean property files usually move within one to three weeks. If the status has not changed for longer than that, or it says documents are needed, act straight away.
Keep your application number somewhere safe — it is the fastest way to track and to get help.
